Stand up for what you believe in. Take charge of your life and actions. I’ll admit though, this is not always easy. A lot of people are worried about standing out from a crowd, so they just blend in. But by truly knowing who you are and what your morals are, you can muster the courage to be your true self. This helps you make a difference for yourself and others. It helps you “walk your path”.
I am an introvert by nature, which makes it doubly harder for me to convey myself. But, martial arts allows you (or me at least) to discover who you really are and what you are made of. You cannot really progress in martial arts unless you are constantly learning the physical, mental and emotional lessons. These lessons have helped me more confidently express myself and stand up for my beliefs. I know it will do the same for you.
So you know, my beliefs are helping and teaching others while expecting nothing in return, and always being loyal to my mates and not letting them down…no matter what. And I will continue to stand up for those beliefs.
