Meet Wesley Wong 
Wesley Wong is a Japanese Ju Jitsu Instructor at Quantum Martial Arts, bringing over a decade of dedicated training, teaching and personal practice to the dojo.
What began as a personal pursuit of discipline and self-development has grown into a lifelong passion. Wesley trains and teaches Japanese Ju Jitsu in the traditional sense: the original budo art that integrates throws, locks, strikes and groundwork into one complete system. He firmly believes that martial arts is a never-ending journey of learning, growth and self-improvement, and that the most rewarding lessons happen long after the white belt comes off.
Wesley leads the Monday evening adult Japanese Ju Jitsu classes at Quantum's Crows Nest dojo, where his focus is on building students who think, move and respond, not just memorise techniques. His teaching style blends traditional Northstar Ju Jitsu principles with practical, real-world application, and he is known for breaking down complex movements into approachable, achievable steps for students at every level 
While Wesley is proud of his rank and the years he has put in on the mats, his greatest reward is watching students grow. The moment a hesitant beginner throws their first confident Ippon seoi nage, or a long-time student finally clicks with a technique that has eluded them for months. He believes the dojo is a place where confidence, resilience and respect are forged just as much as fitness and skill 
Outside the dojo, Wesley brings a leadership background and an analytical mindset to his coaching, qualities he channels into helping students set meaningful goals, track their progress, and develop the mental discipline that defines a true martial artist.
